Soon after his return from the prestigious 16mm Film Course at NYU Adam founded Superplex Pictures with Eddie Sternberg in 2011. This year has seen him co-write and produce dark comedy ‘Just Desserts’, selected for the BFI London FF and nominated for Best UK Short at Raindance; direct his narrative debut ‘Kitty’s Fortune’; and create two installation films which were exhibited at the Shard and the Bronte Parsonage. He is currently developing Superplex TV’s slate of documentary projects with Bella E. Danon.

Adam Baroukh

Co-Founder & Director

After spending his formative years studying photography and film, Eddie founded Superplex Pictures along with Adam Baroukh in 2011. Since the company’s inception, Eddie has become a multi award-winning writer/director and had the pleasure of working with some of the World’s biggest brands. Last year, Eddie was shortlisted for the Kevin Spacey Foundation’s ‘Artists of Choice’ and was signed for Worldwide representation by Sayle Screen. He is currently devloping his first feature film whilst continuing to lead the Superplex Pictures output.

Co-founder of Superplex TV, Bella has produced videos for global corporate entities such as British Airways, Iberia, Samsung, BFI, SamKnows and Code Club. She also used to be the Series Producer for 2 shows in Turkey called “Women of Turkey” and “Made in Turkey”. She is currently developing Superplex TV’s slate of documentary projects with Adam. In her spare time she likes to play with Lego…

Bella E. Danon

Chris Pencakowski


Lisya works on shorts, documentaries and video content, with a background in film events as programmer and coordinator. She currently works with Loft Films and Bright Little Labs as a producer, and regularly considers growing succulents and making apple crumble for a living. Anne Gry Skovdal’s range of experience spans from theatre and film through to commercial work. With her Danish background, she has worked on projects all over Europe, and enjoys adventure. RECENT WORK : Off the page, The Guardian / The Royal Court Theatre (short films) Electricity, Stone city films (feature), The Caravan, Uprising Features (feature ) Out of Body, Superplex (short film), Vivo, O2 /mango films (commercial) Goggle, Across the pond (commercial). Anne has also studied Theatre and Performance Design at Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.
